From farm to fork

Food is not a favour.
It is a right.

We are Ugandan lawyers, researchers and organisers who use the law — courts, bills, labels and levies — to put a safe, adequate meal within every family's reach.

Who we are

Somewhere between the seed and the plate, a right gets broken.
We are the ones who go and fix it.

An indigenous not-for-profit legal advocacy and action-research organisation using a human rights-based approach to promote adequate food and adequate living — across pre-production, production, post-harvest, processing, marketing and consumption.

Soil has a memory.

Nobody fixes a food system alone.

The brief

One email a month.
No noise, just the files.

What moved, what stalled, and what you can do about it — written for people who care about food justice but don't have time to read a bill.
