We publish an annual report every year and it is mostly good news, because we choose what goes in it. This is the other half.
We planned twelve legal clinics and ran seven. The gap was staffing, not funding, and we should have said so at the six month mark rather than at the twelve.
Training a farmer is the easy part. Knowing whether the practice held two seasons later is the part that tells you whether the training worked. Our follow up data is thinner than it should be and we are rebuilding it.
It nearly did not, during a quiet stretch in 2025 when nothing visible was happening. Coalitions need maintenance during the boring stretches, not just during the campaigns.
